2008 – Present – Freelance 3D Game Artist – Working As Intended:
Currently full time 'remote work', I am responsible for game-ready 3D content creation
Using various 3D software platforms for creation & exporting to the game engine
The 3D content created is Low polygon, utilises Normal, spec, ref, and alpha maps, and all have LOD models
2008 – Freelance 3D Artist – NiceDice Design:
Working in collaboration with NiceDice Design, I have produced a range of inner-city & exterior animations to be used on the “PHS” website.
2007 – Freelance 3D Artist – Coca-Cola Company:
Working in collaboration with “A Simple Theory” for Coca-Cola, I produced a series of Animations for the “Vault 5000”, branding for the “Vault” energy drink
2007 – Freelance 3D Artist – Fugro Chance Inc:
Working as a freelance 3D modeller for Fugro Chance Inc, I was responsible for creating 3D ships to be used in offshore Navigation software
The ships were built to scale and fully textured, but had to be kept at a low polygon count for the navigation software to run them efficiently
2006 – 2007 – Freelance 3D Artist – ES3D Studios:
Working as a 3D modeller for ES3D, I have been responsible for the following:
G6_155mm - A heavy duty military vehicle, produced under 1500 polygons (including all 6 wheels), with no normal mapping
Golden Gate – I produced a section of the San Francisco coast line which also included the Golden Gate bridge, and a HOS Greystone ship
Game Ready Speed Boat – I created a 'game ready' speedboat that had to be within a 2500 polygon limit, with no normal maps, the boat also required detailed textures and thoughtful UV Mapping
Game Ready Cruise Ship – ES3D required me to produce a 'game ready' cruise ship, under 6000 polygons, fully textured and utilising Alpha maps
2006 – 2007 – Freelance 3D Artist – 3D Crime Scene Visualisation for Documentary:
• I am responsible for re-creating a 1975 murder scene from the “Charles Wakefield” case in America
The scene involves producing various low-polygon 3D vehicles and environments to be rendered in black and white, and then animated, to fit the theme of the Documentary
